What I Love: 7/17/13

Looking through my photos of my trip to make a scrapbook! Here's a quick overview of what I was doing:         The first week, my team participated in a prayer tour of the island, and prepared for the overnight camp. The YWAM base had planned out the lessons, but it was up to us to pick themes, games, and activities to do with the kids. The second week was the camp, and it was a blast. I was a counselor, and my cabin (the “Twinkling Tiaras”) was really sweet. My co-counselor and I had the youngest girls. We had four young ladies, who were all fun, crazy, and excited to learn. It was really inspiring to see how much they grew and learned about God during the week. It was inspiring to me to see their faith.

What I Love: 7/3/13

I have made it safe to St. Croix and back! I am hoping to post more pictures, but for now here's a sneak peek.

What I Love: 6/16/13

Today's a big day! In less than 12 hours, I will embark on my summer missions trip. Myself and 14 other people will be travelling to the US Virgin Islands, specifically the island of St. Croix. We will be there for two weeks, helping the staff of the YWAM base prepare for and execute an overnight church camp for the local kids. I am super excited for this opportunity, and I can't wait to see what God has in store!

Because I will be practicing a technology fast, I will not be able to post updates (that means a marathon post when I get back. Har.) So, I have set this little ole blog to post one prayer request each day that I am gone. I would really appreciate it if, when you stop by here, you'd take a few moments to lift the day's prayer to God. A mission like this can only succeed on the wings of prayer.
